| Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) www.hbsc.org HBSC is a cross-national research study conducted in collaboration with the WHO regional office for Europe. The study aims to gain new insight into, and increase understanding of young people's health and well-being, health behaviours and their social context. The GRADIENT Work Package 4 on protective factors will perform secondary analysis of the HBSC to explore new strategies to tackle social inequalities.  Schools for Health in Europe (SHE) Network www.schoolsforhealth.eu SHE Network is the European platform for school health promotion, which makes progress in increasing the cooperation between the health sector and the education sector. The network is coordinated by NIGZ (The Netherlands Institute for Health Promotion) as WHO Collaborating Centre for School Health Promotion.  Confederation of Family Organisations in the European Union (COFACE) www.coface-eu.org COFACE is a pluralistic organisation, at the heart of civil society, which aims at promoting family policy, solidarity between generations and the interests of children within the European Union. It defines family policy in Europe as being the family dimension of policies, programmes and initiatives developed at European Union level. COFACE links together general and single-issue national family organizations and currently has 53 member organizations across 20 member states. EuroChild (AISBL) www.eurochild.org EuroChild is a network of organizations and individuals working in and across Europe to improve the quality of life of children and young people. EuroChild's work is underpinned by the principles enshrined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. EuroChild currently has 98 Member Organizations in 34 European countries (both within and outside of the EU).  Europa - European Alliance for Families www.ec.europa.eu The web portal for the European Alliance for Families. The alliance is based on the recognition that there is a need to improve the living conditions for Europeans who want to raise a family. By providing information on family policy issues across the EU, the portal aims to support the key players in the Member States - government officials, service providers, social partners and representatives of civil society organizations - in their efforts to create better conditions for all European families.  |
